A Great Weekend at the Albanian GP Qualification Event for Team NTC & Horizon

This past weekend was an unforgettable experience for Team NTC and Horizon at the Albanian GP qualification event. The event marked an important milestone for the team as they competed fiercely to secure their spots for the 2025 GP1. The atmosphere was electric, and our athletes showcased outstanding performances across the board.
A Big Achievement: 5 Qualifications for GP1 - 2025
One of the biggest highlights of the event was securing five qualifications for the upcoming GP1 in 2025. This is a huge accomplishment for Team NTC and Horizon, and it speaks volumes about the hard work and dedication of our athletes. The road to GP1 will be filled with challenges, but we are confident that these athletes are more than ready to take on the best in the world.
Standout Performances:
Monica -52kg (Bronze)Monica delivered a spectacular performance, securing a well-deserved bronze medal in the -52kg category. Her determination, skill, and focus throughout the competition were unmatched. She’s proven that she’s a force to be reckoned with, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
Big Harry -61kg (Bronze)Big Harry also made an impact with an impressive bronze medal finish in the -61kg category. His strength and composure under pressure were key to his success. We are incredibly proud of his achievement and know this is just the beginning of even greater things to come.
Kaz -68kg (Bronze)Kaz's bronze medal in the -68kg category was another standout moment for Team NTC. His technique and strategic approach to each match made it clear that he was ready to compete at the highest level. This result is a testament to his hard work and determination.
Sam -45kg (Quarter Final)While Sam didn’t secure a medal, his performance in the -45kg category was nothing short of impressive. Reaching the quarter-finals at such a high-level event is a major accomplishment, and we know Sam will continue to push himself further as he aims for even greater success.
Ikhra -44kg (Bronze, Horizon TKD)A special shoutout to Ikhra from Horizon TKD, who clinched a bronze medal in the -44kg category. Her precision and focus throughout the competition were exceptional, and she’s shown that she has the talent to excel on the international stage.
Looking Forward:
As we look ahead to the 2025 GP1, we couldn’t be prouder of the progress and achievements of our team. It’s clear that the hard work and determination shown at the Albanian GP qualification event have set the stage for even greater successes in the coming year.
