National Taekwondo Club: Eight Athletes, One Club, One Goal — Representing Great Britain on the International Stage

2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for National Taekwondo Club, with eight NTC athletes selected to represent Great Britain across two major international championships.
This is an incredible achievement for our athletes, coaches, families and the entire NTC community.
World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships
Taking place in Chuncheon, South Korea, 16–20 September 2026, the World Poomsae Championships will see NTC represented by:
🇬🇧 James Barrett — Under 40 Male Individual & Under 50 Male Team🇬🇧 Cuba Wilson — Under 17 Female Individual
Competing at a World Championship is the result of years of dedication, discipline and countless hours of training. James and Cuba will now have the opportunity to compete against the very best Poomsae athletes from around the world.
European Cadet Championships
NTC will also have six athletes representing Great Britain at the 2026 European Cadet Taekwondo Championships:
🇬🇧 Zaac Quah — -33kg Male🇬🇧 Jackson Done — -37kg Male🇬🇧 Nyah Cannon — -37kg Female🇬🇧 Dev Sharma — -41kg Male🇬🇧 Louis Hedworth — -49kg Male🇬🇧 Emily Palmer — -51kg Female
For these athletes, this will be an opportunity to test themselves against the best young fighters in Europe and experience the intensity of international competition.

These selections represent far more than eight individual athletes. They represent the hard work of their coaches, training partners, parents and everyone who contributes to the NTC environment.
Every international athlete starts somewhere. The journey is built through hard work, consistency, discipline and a willingness to keep improving.
